PA / WV Public Lands Bird Hunt

About the Event:

I will be frequently hunting the public lands in Southwestern Pennsylvania for pheasants, grouse, and woodcock. Since Sunday hunting is now allowed on public lands in WV, I will most certainly be taking advantage of that as well (mostly for grouse as WV does not have much of any good pheasant hunting that I’m aware of). I would be happy to have field staffers join me in these hunts.

I am open to dates as I will likely be hunting every weekend until the close of the seasons. I would like to keep each hunt limited to 4 people.

You will need:

  • PA hunting license
  • PA pheasant stamp
  • Migratory game bird (for woodcock)
  • WV hunting license if hunting in that state

Additional Notes:

Woodcock ends on December 18th.
Grouse ends on December 24th.
