My names Brock Bullard from Blytheville Arkansas. I grew up hunting Big Lake WMA in Mississippi County Arkansas and on the family farm in Tallahatchie County Mississippi. We mainly hunted ducks and squirrels in the timber and doves in soybean or corn fields growing up. About the age of 16 I got into deer hunting. Since about 2012 I’ve really committed most my hunting time to deer hunting as my In-Laws have good land in Texas County Missouri where 160” plus are the norm for them to kill. I’ve had to learn how to scout and hunt these mature whitetails as I’m the new guy in the family trying to find “my spot” in the woods and hunt different deer than they are. I have an agronomy background, growing up playing golf and in college while getting my degree. In the past few years I’ve started using this to my advantage by doing test plots in areas I hunt in order to not only attract deer, but hold and grow a healthier heard. While I still hunt the hills and public lands of Arkansas, I’m slowly transitioning to where all my time is spent in Missouri chasing a Pope and Young as well as a Boone and Crocket whitetail.
