Bio:
Grew up around the Chicagoland area with just a little fishing here and there, but really came to hunting and fishing later in life. During the COVID era, I started getting into it after reading about persistence hunting and wanting to be less reliant on the broken food systems most of us depend on. What started as a way to eat better and live closer to the land has turned into something a lot bigger — I’ve really come to appreciate the social side, the learning, and the community that comes with it.
Now living in Pennsylvania with my wife and kid, I’ve been introducing the little one early and getting out whenever possible (thankfully, my wife’s been patient about it). I’m hoping to get more involved with local PA opportunities and also branch out beyond the state. Looking forward to contributing more over time — probably starting with bass and fly fishing since those are where I’m most comfortable for now.
