Ice Camping! Something I’ve always wanted to do and after doing it once during the winter of 2026, I want to do it again but with all of you!
Arrive at the lake on Friday around noon or whenever you can get there and we will camp/fish until Sunday sometime. Whenever we feel like leaving.
We will be fishing the chain of lakes located in Phillips,Wi. Potential to catch just about anything.
Smallmouth, Largemouth, Walleye, Pike, panfish and Muskie will be out of season at this time but if we happen to catch one we just need to release it. I don’t no really jig, anytime i target panfish i usually use tip downs or tip ups rigged for panfish.
Nonresident fishing license cost is $29 for 4 days.
THINGS YOU WILL NEED.
-Cot
-warm Sleeping bag
-snacks
-drinks
-Ice Shack. I have my own that i can fit someone in with me if needed.
-any camping gear you may need
-ice fishing gear
-lights
-Good attitude.
Meals can be discussed as the dates get closer.
Ice conditions can change daily so location is subject to change! So please keep that in mind.
This will be a fun filled weekend on the ice and want to make sure everyone who joins is comfortable. Please if there is any questions please dont hesitate to ask
