A group of us will be participating in a guided hunt for the Florida Dove Opener in Lake Placid with Hunter I., a guide/field staff member there. We will be hunting only a half day and camping at the Fisheating Creek WMA which is close by for the weekend.
If anyone wants to come fish and camp with us, it is going to be a great time. If you want to get in on the Dove Hunt Link, be sure to also let me know also. The details on that are also posted on the site. I am going to go there that Friday night to camp, hunt Saturday, then fish and relax the rest of the weekend. Will probably leave mid-day on Sunday.

*Rain Gear unless you dont mind getting wet

I will have tables, chairs, and firewood. I will also have some extras on camping gear if someone needs something. The fishing is really good in that area so if you want to try your hand at some freshwater FL fishing, this is a great chance to do so. There are a ton of invasive fish, also bass, brim, bluegill, talapia, perch, crappie, gar, and catfish.

Be aware- It will be very very hot this time of year. If you dont like the heat, this may not be the Field Link for you. We will be outside 100% of the weekend. Also, there will be bugs, snakes, and alligators around. So be cautious of that. Town is not close by so be prepared for that too.
