The hunt link was awesome! Jimmy was an awesome host! The people were awesome, a great place to hunt a lot of area and great places to go to hunt. All around an awesome time and experience!

Allen hosted a great trip, i was invited last year as a guest and fell in love and decided to join cervicide and attend the 2nd annual trip. This last trip was even better between the food and bowfishing we had the time of our life we got into some really good grassy fishing on the Ohio river when water levels weren’t the best for big head carp. As i mentioned the the food was also incredible we had homemade chicken fajitas for dinner one night hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch the first day and even had breakfast all cooked on the blackstone. I definitely will be going the 3rd annual Kentucky bowfishing trip I can’t wait for next year.

Took a canoe out on a creek and fished from 5am to 3pm. It was a great time with lots of laughs and some nice fish got caught that day. Even saw a bear swim across the creek. 10 out of 10 would definitely do it again!!!

I cannot say enough about how great these few days in FL were, with Justin and his family. This was some of the best turkey hunting I have ever experienced on a mix of public and private land. We had one day of rain, and otherwise hit the woods HARD. Justin is knowledgable, an absolute joy to hunt with, and makes the experience worthwhile even when the woods are quiet. Eastern hunters, keep an open mind. This is could not be more different than hunting our stubborn mountain gobblers. From terrain, to calling tactics, it really is a different experience. Justin hooks it up with a guest room, and home cooked meals most days. You will not starve. His open invite to come back if your tag is unfilled is worth its weight in gold. See ya again this Spring, dude!

It rained a lot but was fun justin provided some great food and advice on how to be successful along with Jermey and all the other guys. I’m glad I went and met more people and experienced something complete new to me. Other than being wet the land we easy to walk and hunt and see some amazing stuff.

What an epic Hunt-Link! TJ Valenti and I spent 5 days in the toughest unit I’ve hunted in Idaho. We struggled to find anywhere holding deer, but we kept pushing everyday. Persistence paid off and we brought home the only 2 deer we laid eyes on. Against all odds, we pulled off 100% success in a unit with less than a 13% success rate. 2 textbook stalks, 2 shots fired, 2 harvested deer with a combined 25 yard recovery, countless miles walked with heavy loads, couple of sketchy mountain lion encounters, hours and hours behind the glass, plenty of sore muscles, and smiles a mile wide! Idaho is rugged and relentless. We both overcame the struggles of this hunt by effectively communicating and supporting each other. I believe this is key on big mountain hunts such as this. Being able to adapt, overcome, and work as a team is a must. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. TJ, it was a pleasure hunting with you brother! You crushed your first hunt out west!! Ill share a camp with you any day!

Fantastic hunt link is all I can say. This is the feedback I posted on Facebook. I’ve hunted with dogs most of my life. Whether is was rabbit hunting with my Pa, fall turkey and coon hunting with my Dad, and now with upland and waterfowl hunting with my own dog. Yesterday I got to experience something entirely new. I went deer hunting with hounds for the first time with a few folks that I now call friends in Appomattox, James Russell Hudson and another huntlink partaken James B Rountree. It was absolutely amazing and I was lucky enough to tag a buck. All the stigma and negativity around hound hunting is a sad thing. All I saw yesterday was a group of folks that respect other people’s property and went out of their way to keep their dogs where they were supposed to be. There are always a few bad apples that cause problems but these guys were not it. I had an absolute blast. I’m officially buck tagged out for the year. Also the fellowship after the hunt was amazing. Good food, even better people.

Had the absolute best time with Sammy. Her angling prowess, knowledge of the lakes, and company were top notch! Sammy loves sharing her knowledge of fishing, and her excitement was contagious! It was a beautiful day for fishing on the lake and I hope to do more with her in the future

Awesome HUNT LINK!!! Finally meeting Justin for the first time exceeded all my expectations his love and passion for the outdoors is second to none always eager to jump in and help in anyway he can and when the hunting got tough it just made him push that much harder we shared some amazing conversations and hunting stories we made a awesome connection and I’m looking forward to our next hunting adventure if it wasn’t for CERVICIDE I wouldn’t have met such a great guy

I went and hunted with Justin it was tough hunting with not much action but that’s why it’s hunting and not killing. We managed to pull it off at the end. Great opportunity to travel and meet new people.

Amazing Hunt Link! Mark is extremely knowledgeable for someone that just took up waterfowl hunting. As a beginner in it myself, I wanted to experience mountain bird hunting. Talk about a rush! It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget and we are already planning the next trips. Mark was a great host too. My only complaint would be he wouldn’t let me help with anything. Haha He was always on the ball to make sure I got the full experience. He put in a ton of time scouting and took time off from work to take me out which I an extremely appreciative of. He didn’t just throw me in a blind either. He took the time to explain the area and what he was doing and why. That to me is the best part of a Hunt Link as I can apply it to my hunting tactics. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. We had some good laughs, told some great stories, got to know one another, and ate like kings. I am glad we met through Cervicide. I look forward to many more hunts together and made a great friend and hunting buddy for life.

My first time killing a pig out of a blind and also a first for private land. Really impressed with how we didn’t have to hunt over bait. Justin is a knowledgeable hunter and a just all around great guy. I’m happy to be apart of this team. Can’t wait for future experiences.

Harley and his nephew were great guys to host on a Huntlink. It was a lot of fun to learn about their hunting experiences and get to know them as people. We put in a lot of hours in the field chasing turkeys and had a few really good opportunities and they were optimistic the whole way through!

Hey fellow Cervicide brothers and sisters. This was my first Hunt Link/ meet up. What a great opportunity to do something different and meet some new great people that I will forever call friends. I had such an awesome time making memories and catching fish and a sun burn…The hospitality of Justin and his family was awesome. Ate great food, saw some new country land in Florida and got to row the boat in a storm (long story)… can’t wait to come back and do somthing again..

Man where do I start mark is a great dude. We hit it off in a zoom meeting one night and planned a huntlink. Mark helped me navigate all the license and permits I needed to be legal. Walked into the first spot where someone was already set up(part of public land hunting) mark decided to back out to another spot. Right then I knew that mark and I was on the same page of code ethics as a hunter. He was super apologetic, for his spot not working out but I was just happy to be sitting over the water as shooting ducks. We had a great time talking and telling stories on the bank of the mountain pond. He showed me around and a few other of his honey holes. We are already planning another hunt as well as some off season bow shooting. Can’t thank mark enough came away with a new friend.

Carl Fox was in Florida visiting family and hit me up about possibly hog hunting. I told him a property I hunt is pretty overpopulated and the farmer has been wanting me to take more out the population. I double checked to make sure he could come with and we both set a time for a mid day-dark hunt. We talked for many hours as we waited on the pigs to show up and it was great getting to know him in person instead of just virtually. He’s a great guy and I am definitely looking forward to many more hunts together. Carl was very respectful and considerate. He listened very well and was so excited to be there. We had a blast and he ended up taking a 140 lb sow. The level of passion he displayed after taking the pig let me know he was the kind of hunter I like to hunt with. He was a pleasure to hunt with and I am glad we finally got to meet. 5 stars all the way for Carl.

This trip was an absolutely epic adventure. Eric and his family were extremely enjoyable to be around and super helpful and hospitable. We had a great time in the backcountry and tooling around in the trucks. We both shot nice deer and we shared in enduring the suck when it came to carrying them out. Couldn’t have dreamed of having a better hunting partner and look forward to doing something like that again.

It was an amazing hunt Justin is an amazing dude. We got to the blind about 12:30 and had a good 5 hr sit with success. We sat and talked most of the time and got along great cracking jokes and telling stories. Definitely something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

Talk about action! Right at 15 to 16 stalks made on goats. One large herd, some loners, and some bachelor groups. We found em in multiple areas and had some great times trying to get close. Crawling thru creek bottoms, trying (highly unsuccessfully) to dodge cactus, fighting hordes of mosquitoes… you name it we probably did it multiple times over. I finally got to sling an arrow at an animal. A quick little hop as I released sent my shot just high. So close! Never thought I would be willing to let an arrow fly at 84 yds but a lot of hard work had me completely comfortable with the shot. I’m looking forward to seeing the video. Brayden tells me that I was rock solid when I let it go. It felt great and is send it 10 times over. I can’t say enough good things about Brayden. From the moment we first talked to the time we went our separate ways it has been great. Wonderful young man with a great reputation that he definitely owns up to. That man was working harder than me to get me on one and that’s impressive because I was totally focused/dedicated. I think he may have taken my miss harder than I did too haha! I would not hesitate to hunt with Brayden again. In fact we have discussed several opportunities for the future.

What a grate experience I had with the boys. I had the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends, and to do a duck hunt for the first time in my life.

Grant was awesome, I wasn’t able to come in the evening before and he understood so I come early the morning of our first day. Went in and got on some turkeys the first morning but they didn’t cooperate with us to tag one. Spent the day looking for more birds and trying to get on others, exploring the amazing views of nature. A lot of hills and valleys in the south part of Ohio, but it was worth spending the time with a person like Grant. The next morning weather didn’t work with us either had some birds set up but the weather got to bad for us to hang out in and had to pull out early. All in all Grant was a great host and I had a wonderful time. I will do it again every chance I get.

What an awesome time to meet some new guys and enjoy time in the great outdoors. We weren’t able to get a bear, but we heard plenty of shooting and had a great time!

One of the best hunts I’ve been on and it was all due to Justin! He was an incredible host, he kept things fun and easy going but still got down to business when it mattered. Even when plan A didn’t work out he was working on the next plan, and maybe three more plans down the line in case that one didn’t work out. He kept a positive attitude throughout the hunt, you can’t ask for much more in a hunting partner! The added bonus was we got a hog in crunch time! I enjoyed my time in Florida with Justin and I definitely plan to be back in the future.

Where do I start Michael Bean and I met for the first time and hit it off right from the start he had never waterfowl hunted before and he was eager to jump right in and help any way he could and learn as much as he could by the time the weekend was over it was like we had known each other for years he is a very down to earth and a super nice guy I can’t wait for our next hunt link together

Alright, I had never been on a goose hunt before but after this trip I am hooked, I see Geese everywhere now and I can honestly say I’m a fowl hunter. This group of guys we had with us was awesome too, not one slob and every single one of us pulled our own weight. We ate wild game all weekend; pheasant, goose and venison. We drank (allegedly) a few brews every night but no one got crazy. We had a blast. Duck and Goose hunting hunt links, I’ll be keeping my eye out for you!

Great hunt with great folks, very thankful we had the Cervicide connections on this one, provided a ton of resources. Until next time!

Josh and James were a blast to have! They soaked it all in, came in with an open mind, and got to experience a new form of hunting. I cant thank them enough for coming to experience this sport with all the negativity that surrounds it. I’ll definitely be going there direction in the future to experience some of there outdoor hunting/fishing!

Had an awesome time with Grant on this Trip! We almost put something together a few separate times! Definitely can’t wait to do this again!

Not a very good experience with Nicolas, upon texting I assumed we had agreed upon dates, Nicolas displayed very poor communication skills which ultimately lead to no responses even though he read the text, I ask for anyone in the future to communicate, as much as possible, that wasn’t the key here one party was interested while the other wasn’t. I hate it because hunting some where new is what I wanna do!

This was my first hunt link and it was a great one! Jimmy is a great guy and we had a awesome group of people there. The cabin was very nice, and the atmosphere was good as well. I definitely plan on going back next year.

Not many people can go on a trip and not shoot their target species but have as good of a time as I had on this trip. Hands down one of the best hunting experiences of my life and the people I went with made that experience completely worth it. Definitely going on a trip with these guys again next year.

I had a absolute blast with Adam as my guest. He is a down to earth hunter and a overall pleasure to be around. He gave me 110% effort and kept a positive attitude even with the extreme bugs and weather. Never once complained and ended up taking a nice 6 point Florida swamp buck. He listened to my advice and perspective and added his own knowledge to it, to produce a successful kill. I will definitely be hunting with him again and hope to have many more adventures together. He’s one hard-core hunter and the type of hunting buddy I like to personally take out. This guy knows his Whitetail. Until the next one, my friend. It was a please.

It was a great time l finally meeting Ezra and Rob. The turkeys didn’t want to cooperate after getting run off by some cows, but hey that’s why it’s called hunting. I learned a couple new tactics to try on my own and can’t wait to meet up with them again hopefully soon!

Carter was a fantastic host on this turkey hunt. He put in time scouting before hand and knew where birds would be. It was great getting to know him and chatting about experiences in life and hunting. For my first hunt link it was an awesome time and I look forward to doing more.

I had such an awesome Hunt-Link with Justin! He is a great guy and also a very avid hunter. This guy knows his stuff! I went on a deer hunt with him in Florida to get my gulf coast whitetail and I got it done with him. He is very accommodating. Justin always keeps a positive attitude and he hunts as hard as he can no matter how tough the conditions are. He will do anything he can to help you. I’m looking forward to many more hunting adventures with Justin!

Awesome time with some great guys and James has some damn good dogs.

I arrived in town the morning of Friday April 31 after driving 18 hours from Michigan. Justin was still working but sent me some pins I could check out while he finished his shift. I immediately came across turkey sign and after two hours justin said he was available to meet up. I drove over to his house and was welcomed into a clean home by himself, kristie, and their son, Haywood. As soon as I unloaded my truck we got into his and headed back into swamp. The first evening was slow but it was a great time to actually get to know each after texting back and forth for over a year. Saturday morning we set out at another spot and got into a couple different gobblers sounding off along with a peacock. Only in florida… when the birds shut up we went into run n gun style. We came across a couple hunters and worked around them and came across fresh tracks on top of our boot prints from just hours before. We then heard a shot in the direction the tracks were heading. We walked a few hundred yards in a different direction and soon after a bird sounded off. Less than 50 yards away. It was shortly followed by a gun shot. Our hearts sank. We decided to pack up and go to some private land. The rest of the day was slow followed by a slow Sunday for turkeys, but we saw some pigs . Monday and Tuesday I was on my own but had more pins from Justin to go off of. Both days I only laid eyes on hens, but Tuesday I found a hot spot and as I say in the dark and multiple birds gobbling their heads off. By 8 am one of them was hammering but further away so I dropped a pin where I thought he was and started circling around hoping to get ahead of him. After an hour of walking and checking out onX I got to about 20 yards from the pin and Bam! He gobbles less than 50 yards from me. I immediately drop down and try to find some type of cover to sit against. After 15 minutes, he’s still gobbling but getting further and further. I try to make a move but he went silent so he must have seen me. I decided to l call it a morning and head back to my truck. I don’t get but 100 yards from where I had an encounter and a second bird gobbles. Again, really close, this time probably 75 yards. I find an a cluster of trees to get against and let out a couple soft yelps. He cut me off. My heart went 0-100 real quick. I sit back and try to remain calm. After about 5 minutes I hear noise rustling the leaves. Out of the thicket comes a hog. The entire swamp then goes silent and my chances at an Osceola are gone. All in all, I had a great time regardless of not filling a tag, and I got to meet an awesome guy that I’ve been talking to for years. Fred bear once said, ”a hunt based on trophies falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be.” No truer words have been said in an experience like this.

I had an absolute great time hosting grant that weekend! Unfortunately we didn’t get the connections we were looking for. None the less we did not get skunked though! Grant is a great guy, easy to get along with, and down to earth. I hope we can get together again to come out with more hides and to see if I taught him well!

I had an absolute blast! Allen was an incredible host. He worked his ass off to keep us moving and searching to get me on the biggest fish possible. Definitely went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my time down there with him. I would go bowfishing anywhere with him given the chance ever comes up again

I can’t even begin to put in words how awesome and amazing this quick last minute hunt link was! Brayden and I had met through the group a few years back. We went on our first hunt link together back in September in Colorado. We had be chatting the whole time I was in Nebraska trying for my 10 year old sons first deer. Part way through the trip the plan shifted and me and my son found our way to South Dakota. in less then a 24hour span Brayden made accommodations for us to come up and on the first evening was able to put my boy on several deer and even leading up to the moment where my son shot his first ever deer harvesting a beautiful South Dakota whitetail. Making memories that will last a lifetime. Starting a chapter in a young man’s life as a hunter. There will forsure be some more awesome hunt links to come after this. thank you Brayden Davis for being awesome and being there with us for that memorable adventure!

Ezra is a class ack very smart maine guide. Very driven to be successful and professional at the time. I Have hunted with Ezra 2 time now and never been a dull moment.
